I never realized I actually had RSS Subscribers to my blog, and I have been leaving you out in the cold.
http://WinBreak.com has relaunched. This blog is no longer used in the capacity it once was, and all "new" items have been directed to WinBreak.com. It is now an Xbox 360 Fanblog, covering news, current events, and we have even already had our first contest / giveaway! With more great things like this to come, I just wanted to leave a note here, so that people didn't think that we stopped working on the site. On the contrary, we're working harder than ever on WinBreak.com - we just let the blog go unattended.
Our appologies, and we hope to see our readers of the blog, over to the main site! Now powered by WordPress.
Peace on ya, -G |

When the September 18th issue of PC Magazine releases, you will see an article talking about the '12 best mobile applications' (page 69). TCPMP is shown as a highly recommended freeware video player for mobile devices. They say it's 'getting harder to find' - but I have found the exact version recommended by PC Magazine.

The speculation can be ended: there is no Grey Xbox 360 - but the camera was not playing tricks on us. The GREEN Halo 3 Edition Xbox 360 will be seen this fall.

Is the Grey Xbox 360 (Gray Xbox 360) a myth, or a coming legend?

With the overwhelming majority of blog updates being made this month alone, the website has surpassed the one year mark! June 15th, 2007 marks one year and one day. I know I don't have many regular readers, but thanks to everyone who stops by and sees our messages... thanks to those who have left comments and made some kind of contributing to the site. It's been a heck of a ride, after losing NuAngel.net a few years ago, mounting a come back has been difficult - but I think, so far, it's been a sleeper success.
Wherever I end up, whenever I get a job, then let's hope I can keep this up, and have a little more time to dedicate to the few WinBreak readers out there. And always remember to preach the peace.
Peace on ya, -G

Lots of talk has circled stating that Halo 3 may be gearing up for a new Alternate Reality Game (ARG), much like ILoveBees. The suspicion, partnered with a strange new email announcing the opening of the new Halo3.com, have many people wondering what is in store for the next three and a half months. An email, described by many other websites, but actually visible here on WinBreak, came with the subject line...

The teaser demo for Blacksite: Area 51 is just that. A big tease. The demo seems to be over before you start, but it's worth every second of it. This review isn't much, more of a gushing of what I experienced - I suppose it could be better, but this is one of those games I'm convinced needs little review - I expect it to get high marks on other, more 'official' review sites, so this is just, again, more of a 'first impressions' than an actual review.

First, a little backstory and my stance on online gaming: I will be up front about it. Growing up, I had no broadband internet. The closest thing to deathmatch I had was the ocassional direct-dial Duke Nuke'em 3D match, a LAN party, or configuring the original Unreal (not even UT, yet) to work on one of four public MSN Gaming Zone servers (no longer in existence). Therefore, multiplayer gaming, and multiplayer only designed games, have never been among my favorites.

The Vampire Rain demo for Xbox 360 was released on the Canadian Xbox Live Marketplace recently, and I had a few 'first impressions' to share.
